Green - Saturday - #7 - 8 -

 

 

First - I hope everyone had a VERY Merry Christmas - 

I spent mine very quietly sewing - 

And made quite a bit of progress -

 

Thursday I sewed the last two sets of blocks - 

 

For my Upstairs/Downstairs - Christmas - GREEN -  

 

 

And yesterday - 

 

When I had a pile of blocks - 

 

 

 

 

I couldn't wait to start webbing it - 

 

So - 

Since you have all been SO patient - 

 

Here is the final top - 

 

Ta Dah!! - 

 

 

 And here it is upside-down - LOL - 

 

 

I tried a "collage" for the first time - below -

 

So you could compare the RED one on the top - 

 

To the GREEN one on the bottom -  

 

 

I like how the RED in the bottom photo - 

 

Refuses to let the GREEN be dominant - LOL - ;))

 

Both tops have the SAME fabrics - from identical jelly rolls -

 

Both tops have the SAME fabrics in the SAME strata - for the blocks - 

 

Both tops have the SAME blocks in the SAME order - for the layout -

 

The ONLY difference between the two tops is -

The placement of the two RED strips and the two GREEN strips - 

Were REVERSED when I sewed each strata for the second one - 

This pattern never ceases to amaze me - 

 

I like the surprise at the end - 

 

I really don't know how some of these are going to turn out - 

 

Until I see them done -

 

And that's always FUN - ;))
