I REALLY like the positive/negative layout of these blocks -
Each one has a "mate" that isn't all that apparent -
Unless you look closely - ;))

I love the way the very high contrast squares make up blocks that look totally different!
I am interested in seeing how it looks once you get it laid out. I think it will be very fun.
My floral blocks are something like that with dark on light ... except the two fabrics in each block are not paired. I think your way would have been a lot easier.
