A puzzle of puzzle pieces - 

 

How fun!! - 

 

 

My daughter did the "tray" in the upper left corner - 

And the "glasses" and "coffee" in the lower right corner - 

And is starting with the Blue/Purple puzzle pieces - 

 

I did the "tray" in the lower left corner - 

And am starting on the Green/Yellow puzzle pieces - 

 

We plan to meet in the middle - LOL - 

 

Meanwhile - 

 

Echo wants to know what we're doing - ;))

 

 

Tomorrow I REALLY want to sew -

 

I've decided on the final layout -

 

For my Upstairs/Downstairs - Bali Pops - Sherbet -

 

So now all I have to do is web the top - 

 

And sew it all together - 

 

If I can tear myself away from these addictive puzzles - 

 

And just DO it - LOL - ;))

Another finish -

 

 

I finished my Section of the puzzle - 

 

Fortune Deer - 2000 pieces - 

 

 

And we decided to keep going - 

 

And to finish all of the sections for the LEFT half - 

 

Then put them together on a large poster board - 

 

Then we decided to do the other half - 

 

And put those sections together on another piece of poster board - 

 

We didn't join them - 

 

But you get the idea - LOL - 

 

This turned out to be one beautiful puzzle - 

And we didn't finish it up until around midnight - 

So I was late for my "normal" posting time - 

But better late than never - LOL - ;))

No sewing again -

 

 

But we did play with the puzzle some more - 

 

 

Until we got bored and set it aside - 

 

And pulled out another one - 

 

Fortune Deer - 2000 pieces - 

 

With letters on the back for twelve Sections -

A-B-C-D-E-F-G-H-I-J-K-L-

 

My daughter finished Section C - 

 

I'm still working on Section D - 

 

But I had to stop - 

 

Because it was getting late - 

 

And I had to take some photos to post - LOL - ;))

Puzzle time -

 

 

Is fun time - ;))

 

 

Since there are 2000 pieces in this puzzle - 

 

And no letters on the back to identify which "section" has which piece -

 

We decided to sort some pieces by "thing" instead of  "color" - 

 

And it seems to be working much better - 

 

We identified several "things" that we wanted to play with first - 

 

And set aside other "things" to play with later - 

 

Then my daughter worked on the "flower truck" - 

  

While I worked on some of the "street" - 

The "grill of the blue truck" - 

Some "words" and  the "awning" edges - 

 

Meanwhile - 

 

Echo made herself comfortable - LOL - ;))

Layouts -

 

 

Are always fun - 

 

Because there is really no WRONG way to do it - ;))

 

This is my first one - up on the design wall - 

 

 

And this is my second one - 

 

I switched the two "lime green" rows - 

 

Rearranged a couple of other rows - 

 

And filled in some of the top spaces - 

 

But I don't like all of the light blues so close together -

 

So I will probably move more around tomorrow - 

 

The design wall only holds five columns of six -

So there will be one more column on the right in the final layout - 

 

And the bottom row only has one block pinned to the wall -

In the bottom left corner - 

So that row will be complete - later - 

The final layout will be 6 across and 8 down - total 48 blocks -

 

I played with all of that - 

 

While Echo "rested" - LOL - ;))

All two acres of it - LOL - 

 

 

It's big enough to give me some extra on all sides -

 

When I go to layer it - then quilt it - 

 

Next up - 

 

I pressed all of the blocks -

For my Upstairs/Downstairs - Bali Pops - Sherbet -

 

And will play with the layout tomorrow - 

 

 

Puzzle-wise - 

 

This one doesn't have any "letters" on the back - 

 

To tell us which piece goes in which section - 

 

So it's going to take us a while - with 2000 pieces to sort through - 

 

But we did manage to put together some bits and pieces - 

 

Some more of the sky - 

 

And some "words" - 

 

And today Echo had a bath - 

 

And had her hair brushed -

 

And they even  put a bow in her hair - LOL - 

 

So she had to sit for a picture - 

 

To show you how pretty she is - ;))
