Christmas colors -

Seemed like a logical choice for this time of year -

For my next Upstairs/Downstairs quilt top -

So I pulled out a couple of these jelly rolls -

And sorted them into eight sets of two -

Eight sets of 6 matching blocks -

Will give me my 6 x 8 layout -

And will come out to a decent size - 60" x 80" -

I have been asked to show you how I sort the strips -
So - I'll need to "reverse it" -
To get them back to where I started -
And then "re-sort" them - again -
In order to show you the "process" -
So - maybe tomorrow or the next day -
Trust me - it's easier to DO than it is to EXPLAIN - LOL - ;))

Then it's back to the Sakura Churn Dash blocks -

And my pink/orange SQUIRREL -

I need to cut some more -

And make the rest of them - ;))

Talk to you later - gotta go - gotta sew -

That will be fun for this time of year. I don't generally do "seasonal" quilts unless I am making them for someone else.

I am making a Christmas quilt this year, and am making progress with the trees. Did a pumpkin one for fall- not quilted. I want to have some seasonally not cutsie quilts around now.
