Squirrels -

 

 

Are distracting me - LOL - ;))

 

I finished up this set of blocks - 

For my Upstairs/Downstairs - Winter's Grandeur - Champagne

But before I went any further -

 

I started to chase SQUIRREL #1 - 

 

I pulled out these charm packs - 

 

 

And sorted the top three into sets of 4 matching squares -

With a few left over - 

The charms in the lower right corner only have one of each in each pack - 

So they could be the "centers" - for the SQUIRREL blocks - 

This SQUIRREL is another Churn Dash block - HERE -  

The Churn Dash Quilt Block - Missouri Star Quilt Company -

Jenny uses a layer cake - but charm packs should work -

 

If I have 4 of each -

 

Plus some white ones for the "other" half of the HST and side "bars" -

Then I got an email with a link to another SQUIRREL -  HERE -

This pattern uses Fat Quarters -

 

But I think I could use my LEFT-EZE™ Rule and some pre-cut 2-1/2" strips - 

So - after I play with the first SQUIRREL - 

I can play with the second one - 

 

And/or cut out some more Sakura Churn Dash blocks - 

 

And/or sew some more Upstairs/Downstairs blocks -

 

I like having a variety of projects available -

 

Depending on my mood on any given day - LOL - ;))
