LHQSQ - Block #50
Another 6” sampler block -
That you can make using -
2-1/2” squares -
HST that FINISH at 2” -
Strips - cut 1-1/2” x 2-1/2” -
4-Patches that FINISH at 2" -
QST that FINISH at 2” -
3-Triangle Squares that FINISH at 2” -
Three across and three down -
Variations of the basic NINE-PATCH -
The sewn block will MEASURE 6-1/2” -
And FINISH at 6” -

Block #50 - Strawberry Smoothie
With a block name like that -
Gotta have some Strawberries in the fabric!!
Make 4 “units” like I made in Block #49 -
Using medium#1(red) - medium#2(strawberry) - dark(red with black squiggles)
Add -
1 light square
4 medium#2(strawberry) HST triangles
4 medium#1/medium#2 QST units
Pair the HST triangles -
With the QST units -
And assemble it as a 9-patch -
And that makes 50!! - ;))
