I decided to try again -
To find backing fabrics -
For my Upstairs/Downstairs - Pastel Brights -
If I don't have a suitable "wide" back -
And have to "piece" one -
I like to use my "uglies" -
Not REALLY "ugly" -
Just the ones I wouldn't use on the front -
And I found the two on the bottom right without too much digging -
I know there is no ORANGE on the front -But the print matches the PINK one -
And I think they will work with the BRIGHT GREEN -
They were both 2 yd cuts - but I used a bit of the "Marigold" already -
Then I was worried that I might not have enough for a large backing -
So I sorted through some 1/4 yd cuts and Fat Quarters - for "extra" -
And found the ones on the left in the photo below -
The large-scale PINK one on the left is just for FUN -
The backing search is always such a pain for me -
I spend a lot of time
on the front -
And forget that I have to make the back at some point -
Tomorrow I'll see if I can work out a plan -
And get them all sewn together - ;))
Talk to you later - gotta go - gotta sew -

One thing I have done is to make a pieced strip to join the other pieces. Because of that I have a few quilts that the back looks like a modern quilt design. Those extra pieces would work well for that.
You've pulled some great fabrics for the backing. Hoping it will come together quickly for you.
