There’s a problem in slow progress. I’m always afraid I’ll not be able to finish something. But sometimes we have to settle for those baby steps. That’s life!
Do you do the ditch quilting as a starting point for free-motion quilting? I took one class where they instructor insisted that you need to ditch quilt "every stinking seam."
I just refused to do that Ha ha. Sometimes I do a small bit of ditch quilting to reinforce the spray basting, but I just dive right into FMQ most of the time.
It is getting there. Keep wrestling!
