Was next on the Noah's Ark baby quilt panel -
So I started with the rainbow at the top -
And decided to do pebbles -
The ones on the other side look better -
Then I did the birds -
And the tension was getting funky -
With little white "pokies" showing through -
So I tried to fix it -
And moved on to the side borders -
With more pebbles -
Then I did the hippo's mouth with echoing -
I still have the rest of the side borders -
And the bottom border to do in RED -
But I'll finish that up tomorrow - ;))
Talk to you later - gotta go - gotta sew -

At this point, I am wondering what else is left to be quilted (other the remainder of the red.)
I think this panel has been a real skill builder for you.
Your quilting skill has really taken off during my time away. Must be fun to work on a piece that is different everywhere you look.
Pebbles don't have to be perfect, because, um, they are pebbles- rocks worn in uneven ways. The red areas look great.
You must be getting close to a finish. Did you remove the red where the tension gave you trouble or did you move on, since it is a practice piece?
