A little more sewing -

Goes a long way - ;))

I have one set of blocks sewn -

For my Upstairs/Downstairs - Winter's Grandeur - Champagne
Robert Kaufman Winter's Grandeur - ©Studio RK -

The checked-looking fabric strips were cut a little crooked -

So I did the best I could -

And I'm not going to fret about their crookedness -

It will all add to the "charm" of the finished top -

At least that's what BOB keeps telling me - LOL - ;))

And rather than wait all day for the call-back -

BOB called the lady again this morning -

She answered - and we got it all sorted out - finally!! -

So BOB got to sew a little -

And spent the rest of the day playing games on my tablet -

Tomorrow we plan to SEW all day -

While we look out the front window -

And wait for another delivery - LOL - ;))

Talk to you later - gotta go - gotta sew -

Lovely block. It's going to be a pretty quilt. When King Lear said "O, that way madness lies, let me shun that", I'm sure he was talking about trying to line up check fabric. lol

I agree, it will be a very pretty quilt! I think checkered fabric is just about the biggest challenge you could have given yourself. To get those lines perfectly, um, lined up is near impossible. Nothing jumped out at me or I’d be a little dizzy, so “you done good!”

Hooray for getting the callback issue sorted out. The blocks look good to me, I don't like using "checked" type fabrics for that very reason.
