Keepsake Quilting ™ – Outer Space Kit
24” x 44” Panel

Quilt Pattern - Popcorn

Made for Grandson #3

Grandson #3 loves Astronomy – so when I saw the panel in the Keepsake Quilting ™ catalog –
I knew I had to make it for him.

The panel had 15 terrific photos of various space related things –
including the Moon – Astronauts – the Space Shuttle – and Saturn.
I used EQ6 ® to plan the sashing strips that were needed to make the quilt a decent size.

When Grandson #3 saw the quilt on the design wall – his first words were –

“Where’s the other half of Saturn??”

Boys!! – Gotta luv ‘em!!

Kids say the darnest things. But it's because they see so much!!! They are more observant than adults give them credit for! Love that quilt and I have G-son that is into astronomy and anything science right now, too. he' probably say the same thing :-)

You have done a wonderful job on the quilt. I had to laugh @ your grandson's comment....They are very literal when they are young, aren't they?
