The next phase -

For Upstairs/Downstairs - after the Binding -

Is to actually "Finish The Quilt" -

See the page/tab at the top of my blog - LHQ - Finishing The Quilt -

I still need the Quilt Label - the Scrap Card - and the Heart - ;))

I "un-sewed" the left-over pieces from the trimmed backing so that I can use the coral fabric for the quilt label -

Side note -
The coral fabric that I used on the back/binding is from Connecting Threads -
The label says Gardenia-Begonia -
But it is no longer available so I wasn't able to check online -
To see if Gardenia is the "name of the pattern" -
And Begonia is the "color" - or vice versa -
(Pattern/color probably - since the only Gardenias that I've ever seen are white) -
CT has some awesome fabrics/colors for a very reasonable price -
And some not so reasonably priced - but that's BOB talking - LOL - ;))

I try to keep ALL of the fabrics/scraps/patterns/notes for my projects together in baskets and plastic tubs until I am TOTALLY done - then they get put back into my stash or sorted and put in my scrap bins - and the patterns/notes can go in my Scrapbook -

I want/need to save the odd bits to make the Quilt Label - the Scrap Card - and the Heart - so it helps to keep it all together until I'm done -

I thought that the baggie was all I had left of the various fabrics that I used for the blocks - and figured that I would have to make the Heart with just the black and coral fabrics -

BUT -

When I pulled the coral fabric out of the plastic bin to put it away -

I found TWO extra blocks that I can "un-sew" for the Heart -

Might as well - I forgot to use them on the back - LOL - ;))

BUT then again -

Maybe all I need to do is remove one column and one row from each block -

That would give me several little squares to use for the Heart - and I would still have a couple of 5" squares to use as the base for something else - ;))

That was pretty much what I wanted to post today -
Except the part in Blue that I added -
After BOB and I had a reality check -
BOB is my alter-ego - Bitchy Old Broad - ;))

Oh yes! This is a beautiful finish. I'm interested in your "Scrap Card" and scrapbook. Have you posted about that before? If so, could you send me the link. I'd love to see how you keep up with your quilts.

Thanks for the comment, Jeanna -

I'm really glad that you like the finish - and that you're interested in my Scrap Card and Scrapbook and how I keep up with my quilts. I do have MY way of doing most things - LOL - ;))

And thanks for reminding me that not everyone knows what I'm talking about when I say stuff - LOL -

And that I should probably explain occasionally -

That I don't bother to link back to my previous posts anymore - ;))

I forget sometimes that I have some relatively new readers -

Who haven't seen/read my umpteen gillion previous posts -

And I assume they know what I'm talking about when they really don't -

So I apologize for not linking back to previous posts -

But it became very tedious - ;))

To answer your question -

YES - I have posted about that before -

And probably just about everything else I can think of -

And probably bored all of my some readers to tears along the way -

But it's all good -

I have over a thousand posts through the years -

So I know that you (and others) may not have seen/read them all - ;))

Anyway -

You can find the links to the posts that you're looking for at the top of my blog under the page/tab -

LHQ - Finishing The Quilt-

LHQ stands for Left-Handed Quilting -

But most of my stuff works for Right-Handed Quilters, too -

If you just "reverse the directions" - LOL - ;))

In those posts - I cover how I do my Scrapbook - Quilt Journal/Story & Photos - Scrap Card - Foundation-Piecing the "Heart" - Quilt Labels - Attaching Quilt Labels - And Attaching Quilt Labels by Hand -

I just got tired of trying to link each and every post every time I mentioned something - so I made some pages/tabs to help you guys find information easily -

BOB says - not easily enough - apparently - LOL -

Which is why I went back and added the part in Blue - ;))

I also have a page/tab on Binding if you want to check that out as well - ;))

Feel free to look around and explore my blog -

There's LOTS of information available -

And it's not just for Left-Handed Quilters -

Although that IS the main focus -

And it's FREE - ;))

If you're looking for something specific -

You can always do a "search" of my blog, too - in the top LEFT-Hand corner -

Or you can use the White Box in the TOP top LEFT-Hand corner -
To the right of the White B in the Orange Box -

That box works on ANY Blogger blog - ;))

Or you can ask me - like you just did - and I'll post the link -

Because if you can't find it -

Chances are that others can't either - ;))

Talk to you later - gotta go - gotta sew -

P.S. If you don't want to click on the page/tab above -
just continue reading - ;))
