Slowly -

But surely -

I'm getting the hang of this new computer - ;))

I did some "chores" today -

And found my notes on the Dresden Plates -

So I plan to start with the center four blocks -

That are already stitched together -

And play with the center circle applique -

I had already fused and cut several circles -

In two different sizes -

So my notes came in handy -

To remind me -

Of what I was thinking at the time -

Why I cut two different sizes -

And what I planned to do with them - LOL - ;))

Tomorrow I think I'll stop messing with the computer for a while -

And SEW something instead -

I desperately need some SEWING therapy -

It seems that the older I get -

The faster my brain gets "fried" -

Trying to RE-learn new computer stuff -

For the umpteen gillion-th time - LOL - ;))

Talk to you later - gotta go - gotta sew -

I understand about learning new things.....I haven’t blogged since January and the thought of having to learn howto do it again has me wondering if I should get back to it.

I am looking forward to seeing your Dresden plates grow.

The Dresden Plate blocks will be happy to finally be a flimsy.
I know about learning new "computer stuff." I have been working with computers since DOS 3.O (maybe before.) As time has gone on, so much has changed. Sometimes I wish I had an old DOS computer just to see if I could remember how to work it.

The purple circles is going to look pretty in the center of the dresdens. Looking forward to seeing this one come together.

Nothing wrong with slow. Unless you need it NOW...then slow isn't so grand. But yep, take time to do the fun stuff. Otherwise life gets too stressful and angry. I'm excited for your Dresden plate quilt, though!

Sometimes, I just have to step back from the technology and just go do something mindless. I need to just sew also. You are doing fine.
