My Upstairs/Downstairs - Pastel Brights -
Is a top -
Ta Dah!! - ;))
Top left -
Top right -
Middle left -
Middle middle -
Middle right -
Bottom left -
Bottom right -
Close-up of the middle -
And upside-down -
Linda - Art in Search - played along with me -
We used the SAME jelly rolls -
And sewed the SAME strips -
In the SAME order -
In the SAME strata-
And laid the blocks out in the SAME layout -
The only thing we changed -
Was which color we chose for the MAIN DIAGONAL -
When we made the blocks -
I made the YELLOW version -
She made the BLUE version - HERE -
And added a BLUE border -
We could have chosen the PINK one -
Or the GREEN one -
Or the PURPLE one -
Talk to you later - gotta go - gotta sew -

I am amazed at how different they look. Linda showed her quilt top yesterday. And now yours looks like a very different quilt. Choosing the diagonal really does set the "color tone" for the quilt as it sets the main color.
I don't know Linda so I'll have to follow your link and 'meet' her LOL. I love the way this one turned out. Do you have special plans for each of your Upstairs/Downstairs quilts?
I love your quilt and all the photos of the EQ possibilites. If I had unlimited resources, I would buy and make all the versions for fun.
It's so cool to see both quilts and it's always fun to do projects with friends!
That's so pretty!
