Yesterday I finished the binding on these two -
Star Big Block - 24" x 24" - 2018 -
Crumb - Blue Floral - 52" x 64" - 2018 -
I STILL love that "flange" binding -

It adds just a "pop" of color on that outside edge -
And makes it look "fancy" - ;))

I like the flange binding too. I just always feel like making the binding is a chore.

I really like the blue flowered fabric in your Blue Floral quilt, I bought it too when it was 1st out. I should have gotten it in it's various colors, but I was much younger and kinda dumb. ;) I didn't have the idea to buy minimum 2 yards of a fabric just in case you really like it and can no longer find it and want it for a specific project.
I just love Jordan Fabrics, they have so many good ideas! I use a 5 lb weight when I am cutting strips that I learned from her. I love SO MANY of her patterns. I'm thinking about making her bargello quilt, but I need it in a king size, so that makes figuring. :) Kara

The bindings just finish the whole pieces off well. You are right- pop of color and kind of fancy. Super job!
Both projects finished nicely. I like the look of a flanged binding but I've never tried one. Thanks for the video link. I'll check it out.
